Background:
A national grocery chain purchased and remodeled a store location and re-opened it as a regional discount grocery brand. At their grand re-opening they advertised through radio spots, flyers, newspaper ads and self- installed pennant lines. Since the acquisition and re-branding, the store was not performing at acceptable levels as of their one-year anniversary.
